Spring 2025 -The Dance Litter:
Red Collar Girl - Roo
Living her best life in Alaska! Getting to go berry foraging and play in the wilderness, she is well loved and bringing laughter to her people!
Orange Collar Girl - Seiche
Joined an older Vallhund 'sister' Ace in Boise and is getting to try out Barn Hunt and all sorts of fun things. We hope to be able to join her in some of her sports soon!
Yellow Collar Boy - Milo
Milo gets to grow up with Flare to boss him around! In the show ring, he's been a puppy herding group 1 winner and even has his first major (earned at 6 months and 2 days old) and his first 6 points. He also gets to run on the beach, learn lots of things, and generally be a big goofy boy!
Green Collar Boy - Rusty
Rusty is living like a king in Canada. He gets his own freezer for his lamb and is generally the master of all he sees! He is thriving as a well loved family and farm dog!
Teal Collar - Rane
​Rane remains a firebrand! She is setting her world to order - her order! Learning about herding, beating up her pack mates, and learning the ropes of the show ring - earning 2 puppy herding group 1st at an international show! Can't wait to see what this little one does!

This pup is keeping us on our toes. He's whip smart, bold, and a joy to train and partner with. He has stayed at home with us and is working on Scent Work titles, herding, Rally, and conformation. He seems to be enjoying all the things.
He had his conformation debut at the 2024 Swedish Vallhund National and was Reserve Winners Dog to the Major 4 times. He was also awarded Best Puppy at the National. He walked into the show at exactly 6 months and 0 days old and proceeded to show his potential.

Conformation: Championship, Grand Championship, Best in Specialty Show, Reserve Best in Show Owner Handled, Best in Show Owner Handled, NOHS Silver, Finished as the #2 NOHS Swedish Vallhund, Qualified for Crufts 2026/2027

Winter 2022 - The Starfish Litter

Aster free-whelped a litter of 9 puppies. 5 boys and 4 girls. (I was hoping for 5 total!) She raised them with minimal assistance from me and was generally perfect throughout the process.
​
Puppies were raised in our home with puppy culture. They also traveled the 2 miles to work with me every day. We enjoyed a puppy party at 6 weeks of age with friends and puppy home families. The process was a lot of hard work and so much joy all at once.
All puppies were place in their homes at ~9.5 weeks of age with their first vaccines, DNA eye test for PRA, CAER exam, worming, microchip and AKC registration.
